Established in 1993, ATS are a very highly regarded company and count The Department of Social Protection, the Irish Stock Exchange, Version 1 and The Aldi Group as just some of their customers across Ireland.

This acquisition is part of Welltel’s long-term growth strategy, and our 2nd acquisition in as many years under founder and Managing Director, Ross Murray. Ross will now take up the position as CEO of Welltel as we grow and expand our management team.

Ross said “Our stated aim is to consolidate our position as one of the nation’s top business communications providers. Our acquisition of ATS is another milestone for the company as we look to both increase our market share in the Enterprise and Government markets as well as increasing the product portfolio we can offer to both customer bases. We are very excited to have acquired ATS’s experience and market knowledge and look forward to working with their customers, technology and team. This is a very positive day for our company. We will continue to cultivate our rapid organic growth and pursue additional strategic acquisition opportunities as they present themselves”.

Existing customers can benefit from an extended range of new technologies and new services with the peace-of-mind that it’s backed by an experienced engineering and support team. ATS count SpecSavers, The Aldi Group, The Legal Council of Ireland, Mazars and The Irish Stock Exchange as some of their customers.

We look forward to continued success with the new customer base and also working with more Tier 1 services providers and leading equipment companies such as Alcatel Lucent, which is a great addition and one which plans to make 2017 / 2018 a very exciting time for Welltel.
